Another recipe inherited from my mother-in-law's MIL. Easy to cook and tasty to eat.
Moong dal(pasi paruppu)- 2 tablespoons
Black Pepper - 10 pods
Vegetables - Mix of any tuber vegetables - 250 grams (approx 400lbs)
(Colocasia - Sepangizhangu, Yam - senaikizhangu, potato)
Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
Salt - to taste.
Pressure cook, dal, pepper and the vegetables. When cooked, add salt and water if required.
Add coconut oil and serve.
Tasty Karungalan is ready to serve with rice.
